If you work in the field of cryogenics, ASCO should be your first choice in cryogenic valves.
A branch of the Emerson Corporation, ASCO has been a world leader in valve technology since 1910, when the company introduced the very first solenoid valve. With success after innovative success, ASCO has continued to wow the industry on a regular basis ever since, and is no stranger to the cryogenic field. The quality, adaptability, and dependability of ASCO cryogenic valves are a direct result of the company's commitment to excellence.
ASCO Cryogenic Valves
The ASCO 2/2 Series, part of the RedHat line, is the first stage in ASCO's comprehensive cryogenic valve collection. This 2-way/2-position valve line-up includes solenoid valves designed specifically for the extreme cold associated with cryogenics. Able to operate at temperatures of --320 degrees Fahrenheit, ASCO cryogenic solenoid valves are compatible with, but not limited to, such fluids as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquid argon. These cryogenic valves may be mounted in any orientation, and offer you the unique ability to switch between electric power currents, as they may be supplied with AC or DC voltages. The AVCO 2/2 series is synonymous with the word versatility

AVCO cryogenic solenoid valves are offered in both Direct Operated and Piloted Operating configurations. The Direct Operating (direct acting) models are available in sizes 1/8" to 3/8", employ a core disc, and do not require a minimum operating pressure. Including the 8262LT and 8263LT series, these are Normally Closed solenoid poppet valves and come with Stainless Steel seats. The Piloted Operating models, including the 8210LT and 8222LT series, incorporate a Hung Piston, and are ideal for low pressure/high flow systems. Available in 1/2" to 3/4" and 1" to 1 1/2" sizes. Numerous mounting (including direct and remote) and safety options, including explosion-proof solenoid housings, are offered, as well as choices in some internal parts, such as core, plugnut, and seals.
AVCO cryogenic valves, like all AVCO products, undergo the most stringent quality control processes. All AVCO cryogenic valves are "backlight" inspected for signs of any hydrocarbon contamination. They are also carefully cleaned and degreased to prevent any degradation from moisture. Determined to offer you the most reliable and dependable valves on the market, AVCO continuously seeks to achieve the very highest marks in product quality.
