The FB6C Series sanitary pressure regulator maintains precise pressure control in sanitary applications.

The regulator works by sensing pressure under the diaphragm on the downstream side of the seat. As the downstream pressure approaches the set point the pressure under the diaphragm overcomes the range spring's resistance and the plug starts to close and the downstream pressure drops to the set point. If the pressure under the diaphragm drops the spring pushes the plug open to maintain the set point.

Applications

The FB6C is used in process and clean utility applications in the food, beverage, dairy, health and beauty industries including CIP, SIP, centrifuges, autoclaves, culinary equipment, sterilizers, process tanks and nitrogen blanketing.
